Lucihormetica verrucosa or the warty glowspot roach is an excellent pet roach that enjoys burrowing.  Males of this species possess two yellow dots (glowspots) on their pronotum which glow in the dark for specimens that are found in the wild! It is possible to alter the color of the dots slightly and even make them glow in the dark; provided they are fed the proper diet of fungi.
