Buffalo Beetles

Alphitobius diaperinus or the buffalo worm / beetle (lesser mealworm) is a fantastic addition to many roach tubs. Buffalo worm larvae and the beetles eat the dead, help fight mold, fungi, mites, flies and smell. They can live side by side the roaches without doing any harm and would prolong time between cleanings. Excess larvae can be fed off to many small verts and inverts.
