Shipping Information

We ship Monday – Friday each week via USPS. Orders usually ship in 2-3 business days

• Some Priority Mail and First Class Mail orders may ship Friday for delivery earlier in week based on weather or by customer request 

Heat Pack(s) and Cold Pack(s) will be included in orders as needed. Additional Heat & Cold Packs are available for purchase 

• A confirmation email with tracking will be sent to the address provided once the order has been shipped 

• Tracking the progress of orders can be done on the USPS website and will have the most up-to-date tracking information

• Larger orders may require extra preparation, this may delay shipment by a day or two 

• Shipments may be delayed due to postal holidays, weather or at our discretion. Notices will be posted atop this page


• It is the customers responsibility to enter correct shipping information, keep track of their order while in transit and arrange to be available for delivery  


• All orders are final and cannot be changed once package has shipped

• Products with counts over 50 will be calculated by weight 


• Shipping laws can differ by state, it is the customers responsibility to verify whether their state permits the shipments of certain products. We will not be held responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential damages that may arise from improper shipping or care of our products 

• We ship only to the contiguous United States. Certain species can not be sent to Florida




Terms & Live Arrival Guarantee

Live Arrival is guaranteed as long as the following terms are met:


• Destination temperature range (including “feels like temperature”) must be between 45°F and 85°F. Outside that temperature there will be No Live Arrival Guarantee. We use Weather Underground to determine these temperatures. 

• Home / Business Delivery must be accepted upon first delivery attempt or  Hold for Pickup orders must be picked up within 24 hours of delivery as determined by tracking provided by USPS 


• On DOA orders we must be contacted by email within 2 hours of delivery time as posted by USPS with pictures 


• We will not be held responsible for any shipping errors, damages or delays longer than 3 days by the carrier


• We will not be held responsible for any damage(s) or harm caused by the insects or cleaner bugs contained in orders


• Replacements / Refunds for DOA orders will be replaced or refunded (less shipping) if the above terms were met. We do not refund freebies and / or bonuses


• Reshipment fees are the responsibility of the customer

When will my order ship?

We ship Monday – Friday each week.  Orders ship in 2-3 business days, usually soonerLarger orders please allow an extra day or two. Weather and Postal Holidays can also affect these times 

When will my order arrive?

USPS Priority Mail orders arrive 2-5 days after shipping (usually 2-3)
USPS Priority Mail Express orders arrive 1-2 days after shipping (some small towns or rural areas can take 2 days to arrive)
USPS First Class orders arrive 3-6 days after shipping

Will I get a confirmation email and tracking?

Yes, you will receive two emails. One when the order is placed and a second email confirming shipping with tracking information when the order is picked up by the carrier  

What is a Hold for Pickup? How do I request this? 

A Hold for Pickup allows the customer to have the package held at the local Post Office inside a climate controlled environment until the box can be picked up. Most DOA's happen while a box sits out in the elements on a cold or hot truck all day for delivery. A Hold for Pickup can be selected while adding a product to the shopping cart, by using the "message / request" text box when ordering or by using the Contact Us page 

What type of packaging is used? 

We ship most orders in a plain brown or white corrugated box. Any insects will be packaged inside of plastic container or cloth bags. They will not be loose in the box when it is opened

Can an order be delivered earlier in the week? How do I request this?

Yes! We offer Priority Mail Shipping on Friday for Monday delivery to customers upon request. Orders generally need to be placed and requested by Thursday 10AM EDT for this service. Requests can be made in the "message / request" text box when ordering or by using the Contact Us page

I live in Florida, can I purchase dubia roaches? 

Sorry, due to state laws we cannot sell or ship dubia roaches as well as many other species into Florida
